Mat opening is cut about 0.25 in smaller than the print on each side so the mat holds the edges. Borders are the visible mat reveal.

How to read this
- Frame (no mat) is the standard frame whose opening matches your print. Buy this when you want the image edge-to-edge.
- Frame (with mat) is the smallest standard frame that leaves a balanced 1.5-3.5 in mat border around the print.
- Frame openings usually run about 1/8-1/4 in under the nominal size; mats overlap the print edge ~0.25 in to hold it.
- We do not sell frames or list store stock — just the geometry, so you can buy the right size anywhere.
